Licensing

LOGbinder SQL's licensing model is simple. A license is required for each instance of SQL Server that you monitor.

While LOGbinder SQL uses instance quantity as the metric for licensing, the actual LOGbinder SQL collector usually needs only be installed on one server to process logs from multiple SQL Server instance/servers. LOGbinder SQL can use any edition of SQL Server 2008+ to read audit logs but only certain editions of SQL Server can generate audit logs.
